SOLIDARITY
A word that
everyone thinks about. "Do we have something like this?", that's the
question that pops out of our minds. But does having one common interest a
solidarity?
To answer that
question it is a yes. Why? Because almost everything that we do and the
practices that we act out are the cultural acts that are passed down from one
generation to the other. And while we're at it, we Filipinos celebrate those
cultural thingies and commemorate everything that are in the past but still in
the future to use or be a habbit/practices.
It unites us
Filipinos to have something everyone agrees about and it helps us be one and be
happy having that kind of thing to be similar with others
There's
a month long festivity called the World Heritage Cities Solidarity Cultural
Festival. Where it aims to
strengthen the pride in the city’s history and culture, promote friendship and
diversity between countries and serves as a great venue for forging ties and
understanding through community’s involvement in the city’s various activities
that highlights love for culture, arts and entertainment.
It is only right to celebrate and remember that we are one.
